With election results imminent and cycling through television channels and Facebook posts, I feel like it’s time for a re-post of this picture below.
There is too much negativity and divisiveness. We need to do better as a society. Regardless of who you voted for or who you didn’t vote for, love ❤ should always win. There is no Democrat Jesus, Republican Jesus, or any political party Jesus (Heb. 13:8). We cannot let differences in opinion divide us. We are bound by the fact that despite being different, we are made by the same Creator. If we saw each other in this way, we would find more commonalities and we would solve more societal issues. Our nation is facing a mental health crisis. Until we face the problems and have positive dialogue, we’ll continue to be in the condition we are in as a nation.
